Mefenamic acid

Meftal Forte 500 mg contains Mefenamic Acid 500 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and antipyretic properties. It is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis (including Still’s disease), osteoarthritis, muscular, traumatic and dental pain, headaches, post-operative and post-partum pain, as well as for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhoea and menorrhagia of dysfunctional origin, including cases associated with an intrauterine device (IUD) where other pelvic pathology has been excluded.
