Yasmin is a combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains Drospirenone (3 mg) and Ethinylestradiol (0.03 mg), which work together to stop ovulation and alter the uterine lining and cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to reach the egg. Highly effective when taken correctly (over 99% with perfect use). May help reduce acne, bloating, and premenstrual symptoms. Regulates menstrual cycles and can make periods lighter and less painful. Contains Drospirenone, which has anti-androgenic and mild diuretic effects (may reduce water retention).
